Rüba KPO – Acid Manthis
Based between Nice and Oslo, Rüba KPØ makes music without limits. Laurent Garnier and Sasha have been supporters of their previous work, which they have released on RKRS Recordings, as well as Sonar Kollektiv.
They are also an exciting live act that constantly explores new ways of making music, from jazz and bass to house and cold wave. Their music always evokes an unusual meeting of different worlds, and this new single is no different.
The sublime ‘Acid Mantis’ is a sensuous and slow-motion sound with deep, rumbling low ends and taught synth modulations. Echoing hits ring out into a cool night as sensual female vocals draw you in deep. The snaking pads and distant chords all add a haunting feel as this most hypotonic sound unfolds in a beguiling fashion that will leave a mark on any dance floor.

Mikahl Anthony is a unique creator, filmmaker, songwriter and musician who is set to make his mark in the industry.

As the sun sets, we comes alive. put on our best tortoiseshell sunglasses, colourful dresses, bell bottoms and flowers crowns for some divin' into the intoxicating rhythm of the drums, the very essence of Techno Ravin' that lasts from dusk to dawn.
The image of the waves is something that I believe is central to what we call Balearic music. Rolling synths, lapping drums and build ups that never come, guitar lines that could go on forever, a beat that never ends. Balearic music, like the waves, is ebbing and flowing with the world around it, always reinvigorating itself, always fresh.
Balearic is off-the-grid, spiritual, restless, downtempo, uptempo, tribal, disco, folky, eclectic and endless. Pure atmosphere and melody, the last bastion of real emotion in a world of digital noise and fluffy Tik Tok pop.

Based in Ghent BE, exploring electronic music with ambient, cosmic, tribal, disco, dub, reggae and funk, creating a unique Balearic Soundscape.
Vinyl collector since youth, started in 1988 as DJ and making radio shows for Studio Brussels. Currently hosting a radio show every friday on URGENT.FM (Ghent based University Radio).
Over the years: gigs and club residencies in BE, UK, DE and the Balearics.
